Kate Ridgway

Kate studied at QUT’s School of Optometry, completing her BAppSc (Optom) degree in 2008 with honours. After graduating she worked in private practice on the Gold Coast for two years and pursued postgraduate studies completing a Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics.

On her return to Brisbane in 2011 Kate joined the team at Da Rin Optometrist consulting primarily from the Newmarket practice. Professional interests include contact lens prescribing, in particular multifocal technology, and management of ocular pathology. She is a member of the Optometrist Association Australia and is passionate about delivering the highest level of professional eye care.

In her personal time Kate loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
